Registration with DoktorConnect is not mandatory to access our Sites. However, to utilize our Services, registration on the Sites is required. During registration, you must create an account (“Account”) by providing certain information, including your name, email address, password, and other details collected by DoktorConnect (“Account Information”).
To use the Services, you must create an Account and agree to these Terms of Service. You must be of legal age to enter into a contract (usually 18 in most states) or be an emancipated minor to create an Account. If you are 13 or older but not legally able to enter into a contract, you must obtain your parents’ permission, ensuring they have read and agreed to these terms. If you are under 18, some Services may require parental involvement, and creating an account on the DoktorConnect application may not be possible. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete Account Information at all times, including during registration and any information uploaded to the Sites. Sharing your Account password or creating multiple Accounts (except for sub-accounts for children under your guardianship) is strictly prohibited.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account password and for all activities that occur under your Account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username, password, or any security breach related to the Sites, please notify us immediately using the contact information provided. We reserve the right to take necessary or reasonable actions to ensure the security of the Sites and your Account Information. Additionally, you agree to log out of your Secure User account at the end of each session.
Under no circumstances will we be held liable for any liabilities or damages resulting from your use of the Sites, your use or release of Account Information to a third party, or your use of anyone else’s account.
Certain Clinical Services may incur fees. By accessing our Services, you agree to pay all fees or charges associated with your Account according to the applicable fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time of payment. By providing your credit card number, PayPal, or Venmo account information, you authorize us to invoice your account immediately for all fees and charges due. Notice or consent beyond this authorization is not required. If your health plan, employer, or agency has arranged to pay the fee or a portion of it, the adjusted fee will be reflected in your final charge. Please consult your employer, health plan, or agency to determine if any Services are eligible for reimbursement.
If you lack insurance coverage for Services or if your coverage is denied, you acknowledge and accept personal responsibility for all incurred expenses. DoktorConnect does not guarantee reimbursement. We reserve the right to modify or introduce a new pricing structure before billing your initial payment or future payments under these Terms. For Services scheduled on an appointment basis, you will be responsible for a missed appointment fee if you fail to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, unless a shorter cancellation window is specified in writing.
For further information or questions regarding the collection, creation, maintenance, use, and disclosure of your data, including potential Protected Health Information (PHI), please refer to DoktorConnect’s Privacy Policy as mentioned above.
DoktorConnect or its affiliates may periodically contact you via SMS text messages to provide appointment reminders, service announcements, privacy notices, administrative messages, and other communications related to the Services (“SMS Communications”). These SMS Communications are considered part of the Services and your account.
By agreeing to these Terms and providing your telephone number, you consent to receiving SMS Communications from us or our affiliates at the provided number. You acknowledge and agree that your information may be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and you are bound by it. You can opt out of receiving SMS Communications at any time by texting “STOP” to the number from which you receive the messages. Alternatively, registered users may contact support or submit a message through the application’s “chat” feature. We may also send you a one-time opt-out confirmation message. Once unsubscribed, you will no longer receive SMS Communications from us. Standard carrier message and data rates apply, and availability may vary depending on your wireless carrier.
We may send additional communications to you through electronic means, including email (using the address provided during registration), push notifications on your mobile device, or by posting communications on the Sites (“Communications”). You have the option to deactivate your Account and end your registration at any time by sending an email to [email protected]. DoktorConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate your use of the Sites, your Account, and/or registration for any reason and at any time. We may maintain, delete, or destroy all communications and materials posted or uploaded to the Sites in accordance with our internal record retention and content destruction policies. After termination, we are no longer obligated to provide the Services, except as required to grant you access to your health records or if Healthcare Professionals are legally obligated to provide you with continuing care.
DoktorConnect’s Sites are not intended for children under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old, please refrain from using or accessing our Sites. By using our Sites, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from or about individuals under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction) has created a DoktorConnect account, please contact us at the provided contact information under “Contact Us” to request the deletion of your child’s personal information from our systems. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction) outside of the mentioned circumstances, we will take immediate steps to delete the information, unless prohibited by applicable law.
DoktorConnect’s Sites require users to create unique identifiers (such as usernames and passwords) for logging into various areas of the Sites. These unique identifiers are used to verify users’ identity and eligibility, ensuring the protection of sensitive or personally identifiable information from unauthorized access. Additionally, you agree not to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security features of the Sites or features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of any Materials or content. By submitting data to the Sites or using the Services, you explicitly consent to the use and processing of your data in the United States, as outlined in these Terms of Service and DoktorConnect’s Privacy Policy.
DoktorConnect reserves the right to terminate your use of the Sites, features, or Services at any time and for any reason without notice if your conduct violates these Terms of Service. We will also terminate a user’s access to the Sites, features, or Services if, under appropriate circumstances, the user is determined to be a repeat infringer of third-party rights or in breach of these Terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all Materials obtained from the Sites and any copies thereof. The provisions of these Terms regarding Sites security, prohibited activities, copyrights, trademarks, disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity, and jurisdictional issues will survive any such termination. If your use of the Sites is terminated in accordance with these Terms, you agree not to attempt to use the Sites under any real or assumed name. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold DoktorConnect, DoktorConnect Professionals, and their directors, officers, employees, agents, and contractors harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), or other expenses directly or indirectly arising from (i) your breach of any provision of these Terms or (ii) your activities in connection with the Sites.
DoktorConnect does not represent that all products, services, and materials described on the Sites, or the Services available through the Sites, are suitable or accessible for use outside the United States or in all states and territories within the United States.
All Providers offering licensed Clinical services on the Sites hold professional licenses issued by the relevant licensing boards or agencies in the states where they practice. All physicians and psychologists possess advanced degrees in medicine or psychology and have undergone postgraduate training. If you have a complaint related to the care provided by a Provider, you can report it to the professional licensing board in the state where you received the care.
Any clinical records created as a result of your use of the Clinical Services will be securely maintained by DoktorConnect on behalf of DoktorConnect Professionals for a period not less than the minimum number of years required by state and federal law, typically at least six years.

DoktorConnect accepts payment only via major credit cards and does not accept cash, check, money order, or insurance reimbursement. By paying with a credit card, you authorize us to charge the indicated credit card for any fees and amounts specified in your order when they become due and payable. If we are unable to debit the applicable amounts from your credit card due to expiration or other reasons, we will notify you, and you must promptly provide a valid credit card account number. Your request for services from the Sites will only be fulfilled upon receipt and verification of full payment.
By choosing to visit the Sites or provide information to DoktorConnect, you agree that any dispute arising from your use of the Sites or these Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States of America. You consent to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County for resolving any disputes related to our Sites. You also agree to attempt mediation for any such dispute and to abide by all limitations of liability stated herein.
